THINGS TO REMEMBER

Whole turkeys and sweetheart turkey breasts are available frozen.

The pick-up date this year will be Saturday, November 15th, to allow ample time for your turkey to thaw before Thanksgiving. Exceptions to this date include Muncie (which will be on November 16th) and On-Farm (which will be by appointment). If you will be picking up at one of the farmers market locations, the time frame will be during the regular market hours (please note: it helps immensely if you can come within the first hour of the market).

To simplify pick-up, whole turkeys will be ‘Paid in Full’ at the time of placing the order. For turkey breasts, a $20 deposit will be due when placing the order, with the balance due paid at the time of pick-up. A reminder e-mail will be sent leading up to the scheduled pick-up date.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Whole Turkey (all sizes)

Brine your turkey for 12–24 hours before roasting to enhance juiciness and flavor.

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Roast the turkey until the thigh reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (use a meat thermometer for accuracy).

Let it rest, loosely tented in foil, for 20–30 minutes before carving to lock in the juices.

Bone-In, Skin-On Turkey Breast

Ideal when time or oven space is limited. Roast at 325°F until the thickest part reaches 165°F. Tent with foil and allow a 15-minute rest before slicing.
