Weekly Meal Planning Sheet

Weekly Meal Planning Sheet

For well over a year now, meal planning has been a steady rhythm in our home—and after experiencing the many benefits, I can say with confidence that I never want to go back to my old ways.

Because I struggled for so long to figure out a meal-planning system that actually worked for our family, I put together a 3-step guide designed to make the process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. My hope is that it brings a little more peace into your home, too. You can get my Meal Planning Made Easy guide by signing up here.  I’d love your feedback—let me know if you find it helpful or if there’s anything important you feel is missing or unclear.

Once you’ve read through the guide and are ready to put it into action, having a consistent place to write down your meals makes a big difference. Since I’m a paper-and-pencil kind of gal, I created a weekly meal planner you can print out and use again and again. There are two versions: one includes helpful reminders to keep in mind while planning (because I still need them!), and one that leaves that section off if you prefer a cleaner layout.

While I’m certainly no meal-planning expert, it’s something I’ve grown to love and rely on tremendously in our home. And I know it works—because the three weeks I skipped it over the past year were, quite honestly, complete train wrecks.  When it came to making meals those weeks, I felt lost and didn't know what my next move was, causing everything take way longer than it should have. Lesson learned!

If I can be of help to you on your own meal-planning journey, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to talk through ideas with you; once you get in a steady rhythm, you'll be amazed at how much mental energy is freed up to focus on things other than the daily dilemma of "What am I going to make for dinner tonight?"
