Glazed Ham

While the city hams can be enjoyed as-is, I have been known to add extra sweetness when preparing ham.  I have used a variety of sweeteners over time, including: honey, brown sugar, real maple syrup, Coke, pineapple rings, and maraschino cherries.  I think my favorite combination is lightly packing brown sugar on the outside of a thawed ham and then drizzling it with real maple syrup; I then heat the ham in an oven bag at 325F for about 1.5 to 2 hours.  YUM!
