Help Wanted on the Farm
It seems there is no shortage to the work that needs done on a farm. Currently, we are looking for reliable help in the areas of:
- Animal Care/Husbandry: feeding, watering, bedding, movement, and overall care of livestock (ideal for someone who: has weekday availability, enjoys being outside in all types of weather, can handle the physicality of farm work, can follow directions, and work independently).
- Order Fulfillment: preparing coolers for the farmers markets and assembling orders for individual and wholesale customers (ideal for someone who: has Wednesday availability, can follow directions, can lift 40 lbs, and is detail-oriented yet can see the 'big picture' of what needs done).
- Driver: pick-up and deliver items on behalf of the farm; must have a valid drivers license and comfortable driving in the Indianapolis-area. Must be able to follow a route and carry ~40 lb boxes/coolers.
